This is my studio where I do my studio painting and hold watercolor classes. It is set up to allow a maximum of 8 students, each with ample table space and a distortion free view of the digitally projected painting subject on a 6 ft wide screen. The tables are movable and removable should students prefer to paint on their own easels.

Subject matter that we paint from in class is from my local and foreign travels and includes a large selection of photos. I choose the painting subject for each class session to match the teaching points for that particular lesson.

Weather permitting, classes will be held outdoors in my Watergarden or in scenic Whip Hill Park near my home, or other locations.  For my thoughts on Plein Air Painting, click here.

Each class will be limited to a Maximum of 8 students. Each weekly class will be 3 hours long, with sessions offered on Tuesday evenings, 7-10PM and Tuesday and Wednesday mornings, 10AM-1PM,

Cost will be $250.00 for a 10 week period, payable on the first session. Students may begin a class at any time provided that class space is available.

In the event that a student misses a class for any reason, that class may be made up at any other class session during the same  or next 10 week time period, providing space is available.  If a session is to be missed, a phone call will be appreciated.

If a session is cancelled due to inclement weather or any unforseen reason, the 10 week period will be extended so that no sessions will be missed.

Students will be expected to bring their own painting supplies to each class. A recommended materials list will be sent to each student at time of registration, as well as directions to the studio or click here to see the materials list online.

All classes will be held at my home studio at 124 Warwick Road, Melrose, MA. There is ample parking on the street.
